Nyrraa M Banerji says that festive sequences on TV shows garner much interest and TRPs. The Rakshabandhan… Rasal Apne Bhai Ki Dhal actor feels such sequences offer more fun and entertainment to the audience.
“The audience always wants to see how celebrities, both in real life and reel life, celebrate different festivals. Also media and television is the best way to keep our culture alive by beautifully showing how celebrations happen in different cultures,” she says.Audiences love to see their favourite characters all dressed up in festive spirit. The song and dance in festive sequences is not just a major attraction but also adds value to the story and drama, opines Nyrraa.
“Festivity is used for glamour and as a base for creating conflict, more taam jhaam, more drama, more conflicts, more trigger points and more viewership, hence more TRPs. Also actors get to dress their best and look their best. Glimpses or short videos of such sequences also do well on social media,” she ends.
