After the success of Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei producer duo Nilanjana Purkayasstha and Herumb Khot are back with a new show titled Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii starring Additi Gupta and Rohit Purohit in the lead roles. The show is set in the backdrop of a hospital and highlights the struggles of doctors. The first promo of the show is out and the audience can expect a nail-biting and realistic medical drama with popular faces Additi Gupta and Rohit Purohit as doctors. In the promo we saw the feisty Dr. Deepika Sinha played by Additi Gupta who works as a Chief Resident in Fardoon Meherzad Sheriar Hospital. In the promo we noticed Dr. Deepika facing a lot of challenges in her workplace because of her gender. The show highlights the challenges of patriarchy and gender discrimination faced by women at home and at work. It is refreshing to see that an Indian television show focusses on these issues and hopefully, it will show how to overcome these challenges. It is definitely a very different kind of show and netizens are praising the first look on social media. Rohit Purohit, on the other hand, is looking very fresh who also plays a doctor - Dr. Vikrant Saxena. Definitely, Vikrant and Deepika have a past which the audience will come to know soon. The promo has some beautiful innovative lines like ‘always listen to your heart because that doesn’t lie and ‘respect is more important than love.’
