Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! producer Binaiferr Kohli has seen some good changes in the entertainment industry. "The changes I see in the entertainment industry is that they’re more receptive towards change. The women have changed, the family has changed, the dynamics of interpersonal relationships have changed," she said. The content on television has evolved considerably, and she agrees with it. "Of course, otherwise there wouldn’t have been a show like Bhabhiji. It’s a little edgy and it's a lot of fun, and people are more accepting of realistic and more daily happennigs," said the producer. But she thinks the saas bahu era will never be over. "The content is progressive and realistic. For example Anupamaa, she has a great bonding with her father-in-law. Her mother-in-law is realistic. There are people with grey shades that are absolutely real. They’re realistic people who get hurt," she shared. She has noticed that comedy is on the rise. "People want to see comedy everyday to laugh. They’ve been through a pandemic for so many months now, and now they cannot handle too much drama, negativity and crime though these are here to stay but of course comedy is something I’ve seen on the rise if it is well made," she said. According to her, the way people work has changed during this pandemic. "I feel it should stay changed. We should look at hygiene, even at global warming, greenery, we should look at all these with no wastage in a larger way, look at the way we were struggling for oxygen, we should keep the environment clean and all these changes are here to stay," she said.
