Three reasons that make Aly Goni, Shivin Narang, and Sharad Malhotra most desirable!

 The much-awaited list of The Times Most Desirable Men on TV 2020 was out a few days back and hotties Aly Goni, Shivin Narang and Sharad Malhotra secured a good spot for themselves in it. While Aly was ranked third, Shivin was listed at number six and Sharad took the seventh spot. Well, some might totally agree to this list, but some as always will disagree. And if you fall in the second category, here are three reasons that will tell you why they deserve to take the place that they did.

The work they did: While Shivin started the year gone by participating in stunt reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, Aly joined the most controversial reality show Bigg Boss, and exposed himself to the prying cameras set up all around the house. The year 2020 saw Sharad's playing a baddie on-screen for the first time in his career of almost 16 years.  

Their looks: Sharad was seen in an all-new avatar in Naagin 5. The audience has always seen him in a clean-shaven look and he surprised them by sporting a beard for the show, and he looked handsome and sexy as ever. The tall and handsome Aly back-to-back drool-worthy looks in Bigg Boss and Shivin made the audience fall in love with his casual yet classy outfits in his reality show while taking it a notch higher in his music videos. All three of them have sex appeal in their eyes and smile and also in their simplicity and honesty with which they conduct themselves personally and professionally.

Not sticking to the rule book: While many TV actors like to play it safe, these three chose to break the monotony by choosing to not go by the rule book and experiment, be it on reality shows, music videos or TV shows.

 The team of Rosie, Saffron chapter has resumed shooting. Recently, their first song was shot in Mumbai and is a directorial debut of Prernaa Arora featuring Arbaaz Khan and Shivin Narang. Prernaa is the Producer of Padman, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Rustom, and Pari. Throwing more light on the song the good-looking Shivin says,” Yes I am a part of this special and beautiful song by Tips in the movie Rosie (saffron chapter) The moment I heard the song, I loved it. The theme and story is so well executed by Prerna Arora the producer of so many acclaimed films. She is the director for this song and she has been fantastic in her work her passion. Prernaa’s level of involvement from rehearsals to actual shoot is really commendable. The look and the concept of this song is unique. Arbaaz Khan Sir is also part of this song and playing a never seen before character. Shooting with Arbaaz Sir was so much fun and I must say he is really kind and supportive. It’s a  pleasure to be part of this project.” He ends. Well, Shivin you are the heartthrob of millions and your fans will surely be excited to see you on the big screen.

Vikas and Jhanvi Sethi’s initiative in this unprecedented time is a nice gesture

 In these uncertain times, celebrities are doing their best to help society. Actor Vikas Sethi and his wife Jhanvi, under the banner of their NGO, distributed rations to needy people. Speaking about the whole initiative Vikas says,”

It was my wife's idea to help people with ration and not with money. I can't talk on anyone’s behalf but every celebrity is made by people, so when they need something, I should do as per my capacity. I am happy many are doing it. In this pandemic, I have learned the value of life and how important your family and your friends are.”

He also adds,”Our NGO -MyZindagi Foundation - primarily works on mental health issues. The pandemic has been really hard on all of us. We decided to reach out to the community and get donations in terms of ration. This is our effort in trying to make a difference to lives in our own way. We have been able to distribute ration to 500 families over the past month in multiple drives that we have done.” Transgender Pooja Sharma who is known as Rekha as well also participated in this noble event with Vikas and Jhanvi.

Working with Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli is a great experience. They are like family to me: Yogesh Tripathi

 ctor Yogesh Tripathi, who is better known as Daroga Happu Singh, from Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli’s popular show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan considers the producer duo as his family. Speaking about the warm equation with them Yogesh says,”It’s been a long and fruitful working association. I would say working with Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli is a great experience and they are family. I have been working with them in shows like F.I.R, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai and now Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and all of their characters are so well written. It gives actors great opportunities to excel on screen. In case of any problem, they are just a call away. It’s a great quality. Infact today they got the unit meticulously vaccinated.

Recently the cast and crew went to Gujarat to continue with the shooting as strict lockdown restrictions were imposed in Mumbai. Speaking about that Yogesh says,”We have started shooting in Gujarat sometime back and had a great time. For an actor the working atmosphere matters a lot. Arrangements were very good and everyone from the cast to crew members were put up in a luxurious hotel. Covid guidelines were observed strictly and thus the actors could work comfortably on set.” Did you miss shooting all this while? “Yes. Acting and going to the set is a must for any actor. but situations were like that we were all helpless. I am happy that shooting has started again.”

Speaking about his inspiration in acting he says,”It has to be Govinda as I find him as a complete package. He is a perfect entertainer. I have always admired him and probably he is the reason for me becoming an actor. Late Irffan Khan sir also inspired me in various ways.”

Aneesha Madhok on delay in solving Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Even though we don’t have any concise answers right now I don’t want to give up hope

 Remembering her friend, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, actor Aneesha Madhok says that his absence still feels unreal. Rajput reportedly died by suicide on June 14 last year. His fans, family and industry colleagues have been rallying towards finding out the reason behind his demise. Aneesha, who will be seen in the Hollywood project Bully High soon, was also one of them. However, a year has passed since then, and there is still no closure. CBI is investigating the case. Many feel that unlike earlier times, people have become less vocal about rallying for his justice.  

 
“With a heavy heart, all I can say is that his death had traumatized the country and sparked several debates. Even though we don’t have any concise answers right now I don’t want to give up hope. I am a firm believer of balance in nature and justice. I urge all his fans to carry on his legacy. He had a to-do list and we can all come together to fulfill that, be it planting trees, studying astrophysics, delving into researches that interested him, working hard on our artistic endeavors etc,” she says.  
 
Addressing Sushant as her friend, philosopher and guide, Aneesha adds that he was the only person till date who she could “have conversations about intersected physics, philosophy, psychology, acting and statistics”. She recalls how amazing those conversations were.
 
“I’m a Gemini and he was an Aquarius- you can only imagine how intellectual our conversations would go. Through Sushant I had the pleasure of meeting his close friends Kushal Zaveri and Siddharth Gupta  who are nice people and I am inspired by them as well. Kushal is very hardworking and together we are working on a very inspiring project on Sushant. We hope to take our dear friend’s legacy forward with utmost respect,” she shares.
