Upcoming actor Niharika Chouksey is very happy with the strong opening of her new Zee TV show Tumm Se Tumm Tak. The show debuted at 1.5 and increased to 1.7 in the second week.
She says, “Our hard work has paid off. Although we have been shooting for the past four months, we don’t have much footage ready, since we have reshot a lot to ensure everything is perfect.”
Regarding the older man-younger woman storyline, she explains that this reflects society but was not meant to be glorified. She highlights that the narrative remains natural and avoids over-the-top drama. After twenty episodes, the hero’s family still hasn’t been introduced.
Addressing reports of legal controversy surrounding the show, she notes, “We have also heard about it, but the producers haven’t informed us of anything on set. We have not depicted anything inappropriate.”
Discussing her character Anu, Niharika says there are many similarities between them, but some differences remain, which she is working to portray effectively on screen.
Niharika is quite happy with the costumes. She explains that the show is character-driven, so clothes are not as important here as in other shows focused on young Indian women.
She is enjoying working with her co-stars, who are superb. Sharad Kelkar sir is very helpful
In closing, Niharika is satisfied with her acting journey so far. She recalls that her debut show, Faltu also received good numbers alongside Aiana and is now a channel topper.
